FOR THE PARTS OF YOU THAT HAVE BEEN HOLDING IT ALL TOGETHER

Online Individual Therapy

You can’t make other people go to therapy, but you DO have the power to make that decision for yourself.

Does this sound familiar?

WHEN THINGS ARE GOOD, IT’S GOOD. BUT WHEN YOUR LIFE FEELS LIKE A HOUSE OF CARDS, A SMALL BUMP IN THE ROAD CAN MAKE EVERYTHING COME TUMBLING DOWN. AND YOU ARE AFRAID OF LETTING PEOPLE KNOW THAT YOU ARE NOT OKAY.

The world sees you as someone who has it all – a good education, a thriving career, loving friends and family, and you are either enjoying an incredible relationship or a thriving single life. You are so good at getting things done and you tackle life's challenges with finesse. You feel like you should be content and grateful for all your blessings, yet deep down, there is a sense of unhappiness. You constantly compare yourself to others, are chronically stressed out, and imposter syndrome sometimes rears its ugly head. There’s a pressure to be better and do more. You wonder, 'Am I doing enough? Will I finally feel content when I reach that next milestone?' Your negative thoughts live in your head, making it hard to get good sleep at night, and you are constantly try to push it down. You feel embarrassed to admit to other people that you’re not as confident as you seem.

YOU’RE the one people count on.

You keep it together. You get things done. You show up, even when you’re running on empty. But lately… it’s catching up with you. You’re overwhelmed, stuck in your head, and tired of being tired.
The anxiety is louder. Old patterns keep on resurfacing. And no matter how much you achieve, it’s a struggle to find joy and relax.

You don’t want to just vent. You want to actually heal.

Before you can be a better sibling, friend, partner, human being, you need to be better to yourself.

Your life doesn't always feel like your own. You have obligations to your loved ones that sometimes turn to resentment and guilt. There is hardly any 'me time' in your schedule, and self-care looks like taking care of other people. You don’t own your time, your work/family/friends/kids/committments do. Saying ‘no’ has either never happened, or didn’t make a difference. You hold yourself back from sharing your inner thoughts and feelings. Maybe you don’t know how. You’re afraid of being a burden. And when you try to open up, it feels like people don’t understand.

But you want to be heard. You want to explore these negative thoughts, and to feel safe admitting that sometimes you are not okay. You want to discover who you are, and learn how to face life’s challenges with courage and confidence. Let’s make long-lasting change together.

Therapy That Gets to the Root—Not Just the Symptoms

At Love Power Therapy, I offer individual therapy that’s more than surface-level support.
It’s trauma-informed, culturally grounded, and designed to help you come home to yourself—especially if you've spent years feeling like you had to hold it all in.

I specialize in working with:

  • High-achieving professionals navigating burnout, imposter syndrome, or self-doubt

  • Asian-American and first/second-gen adults balancing identity, culture, and family expectations

  • Queer and LGBTQ+ folks seeking an affirming, intersectional space

  • Adults healing from trauma, emotionally immature parents, or childhood emotional neglect

  • People who feel “too sensitive,” “too much,” or like they’re never quite enough

You’ve been surviving. Now it’s time to reconnect, recalibrate, and start living from a place of truth and calm.

A Boutique Therapy Experience

This isn’t therapy where you feel like a number. As a boutique online therapist in California, I work with a small caseload of clients so I can offer high-quality, high-touch care that fits your needs—not a checklist.

You don’t have to explain the basics here. You get to go deeper.

You get:

  • Sessions crafted around your goals, not just your symptoms

  • EMDR therapy and somatic tools to support deep, nervous system-level healing

  • A calm, curated online space that’s built to feel safe, warm, and affirming

  • Cultural humility and a therapist who truly gets the complexity of your identity

As long as you’re located in California, we can work together from anywhere.

Online therapy offers more than just convenience—it gives you the freedom to access deep, consistent care on your own terms. Whether you’re a busy professional, a caregiver, or someone who just values comfort and privacy, virtual therapy can be a game-changer.

Here’s why many of my clients love it:

  • You feel more comfortable at home or in your own private space—and your pets can join too!

  • You skip the commute, traffic, and parking meters

  • You’re not limited to therapists in your immediate area, so you can work with someone who really fits you, even if they’re across the state.

  • You value confidentiality, discretion, and privacy

Many clients find that therapy feels more natural and sustainable this way—especially when life is already full.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How long you will be in therapy depends on your goals, the type of therapy you’re looking for, and how often you’re wanting to have sessions. We will collaborate together to figure out what is the right amount of time for you in therapy, whether that means a few months or longer-term. As long as sessions continue to be helpful, I will continue to be there in supporting you.

  • All sessions are tailored to each individual client’s needs and situations; hence, I work with you in co-creating all of our sessions so that you can get the most out of our time together. Typically, our first few sessions will focus on understanding your story and figuring out what you want to accomplish together. Subsequent sessions may start with a check-in about how life has been in between sessions before we dive into what you want to talk about or do together. Above all, all sessions with me are collaborative, affirming, and a safe space to unload.

  • EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. EMDR is a powerful and effective way to process and challenge strong, negative emotions that we can’t overcome by just talking about it.

As a EMDR certified therapist, I have seen first-hand the positive impact EMDR has had on many high-functioning adults with anxiety or trauma that they can’t just “logic away.” Learn more about EMDR here.
