MEET THUY

You don’t need to be told to work harder. You need space to breathe.

I help high-achieving Asian Americans and LGBTQ+ professionals get off the emotional treadmill and into real healing.

Online Asian Queer Therapist in San Diego California Thuy Linh Pham

My mission is to help marginalized communities feel understood and supported as they learn how to build healthy relationships - with themselves, their loved ones, and their communities - rooted in love, trust, and resilience.

My Story as an Asian American Therapist in California

I (she/her/hers) was born in Vietnam and immigrated to the U.S. when I was four years old. I hold many different marginalized identities: bisexual, queer, a woman, a person of color, and the eldest child of immigrant parents. My own lived experiences with generational trauma and personal healing brought me to becoming a therapist. I’m a former overachiever and recovering perfectionist who finally realized that healing isn’t about doing more—it’s about doing it differently. I bring cultural nuance, lived experience, and deep care into the room. I take care of myself by going to therapy, cooking, listening to music, cuddling with my dog, spending time with loved ones, and traveling. I value authenticity and bring that into my work as a therapist by fostering open and honest communication.
